The last rays of the sun spill a gradient light on an expanse of long, sandy dunes. This piece is inspired by a sunset hike up the singing Kelso Dunes in Mojave National Preserve in California. The patterns in the sand, the sunset colors, and the distant views created their own silent and beautiful melody.
